7:30 – 9:00 Good Morning Playtime
The children play with manipulative at the tables and play in the different areas with their friends. The children have free play inside and outside.

9:00 Time to Remember to Use the Toilet

9:00 – 9:15 Good Morning Circle Time
The children listen to stories that talk about the subject that we are learning about that month. The children have an opportunity to answer a question or opinion, about one of the stories. * On days that we have ceramics we need to start at 8:50.

9:15 – 9:30 Writing & Snack Time
The children practice writing their name in LOWER CASE LETTERS, the alphabet letter and number of the week. Each day a different child is selected to do the calendar.

The children practice their phonics by signing and saying the sounds of the letters of the alphabet.

The art or science project is introduced at this time.

Ending with the children reporting any short news they would like to tell the group.

9:30 Outside Play Time*
The children have an opportunity to exercise their large motor and sensory skills by riding bikes, sliding, swinging, playing ball games, playing in the water bins and painting on easels.

9:45 Art or Science Project

10:00 – 10:30 Music, Yoga, Dance Class, Ceramics
The children have a specialty class once a month

10:30 Phonics Reading and Math Games (December – August)
The pre-K student (children who will be going to kindergarten in 9 months) goes up stairs to do the phonics reading and math games.

10:30 Outside Play Time*
The children have a choice of free play.

10:45 Zoorobic and Brain Gym

11:00 – 11:10 Prepare for Lunch
The children wash their hands and go to the lunchroom to enjoy a hot lunch.

11:10 – 11:30 “Lunch Time”

11:30 – 11:45 Closing Circle Time
The children sing songs and listen to stories.

11:45-12:00 Outside Play Time*
Outside freeplay.

12:00 Morning Preschool Pick-Up Time

12:00-12:30 
LeapPads, drawing and bathroom time.

12:30 – 2:00 Rest Time/Afternoon Class
The children nap or rest quietly.

2:00 “Rise and Shine”
The children get up from naps.

2:30 – 3:00 Snack Time

3:00 – 5:00 Outside/Inside Time, Art and Games*
The children have an opportunity to play with their friends or choose other activities

4:45 – 5:00 Prepare to Go Home
The children put all the toys away.

* If we are unable to go outside due to rain, the children will be playing games upstairs.
